The cornerstone of our Harvest series is the beer that started the modern-day fresh hop ale phenomenon in America, our original Harvest Ale. Created in 1996, Harvest Ale features Cascade and Centennial hops from the Yakima Valley in Eastern Washington.

Summerfest is a refreshing, pilsner-style lager. Its incredible smoothness comes from an extra-long lagering period. Lighter in body than our ales but just as complex in character, Summerfest quenches your thirst with big aroma and a tangy hop bite.

Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine Ale – 9.6% ABV (Spring)
Bigfoot was introduced in 1983. This award-winning barleywine boasts a dense, fruity bouquet, an intense flavour palate, and a deep reddish-brown colour. Its big maltiness is superbly balanced by a wonderfully bittersweet hoppiness.

Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale – 6.7% ABV (Summer)
This is the first time we know of that an American brewer has put out a beer with fresh-picked hops from the southern hemisphere. The inaugural ale will debut in late April and will feature fresh Pacific Hallertau, New Zealand Motueka, and New Zealand-Southern Cross hops – all flown in directly after the harvest New Zealand.

This seasonal offering is only available in kegs.It is a full-bodied amber lager with roasted aroma. On the palate it is malty and the roasted malts come through again and it finishes of with a beautiful balanced maltiness and bitterness.

Sierra Nevada Torpedo Extra IPA – 7.2% ABV
Sierra Nevada Torpedo Ale is a big American IPA; bold, assertive and full of flavour and aromas – highlighting the complex citrus, pine, and herbal character of whole-cone American hops.

Sierra Nevada Kellerweis – 4.8% ABV
Kellerweis is one of the only American Hefeweizens made using the traditional Bavarian style of open fermentation. This difficult and labour-intensive technique adds uncommon depth and flavour complexity. Our hazy-golden hefeweizen is deeply flavourful, refreshing, and perfect for a sunny day.

Sierra Nevada Stout – 5.8% ABV
Sierra Nevada Stout is a creamy and full-bodied example of this traditional-style ale. Very dark and very rich, Stout displays a pronounced roasted flavour.

Sierra Nevada Porter – 5.6% ABV
Sierra Nevada Porter is delicious, dark, medium-bodied ale made with roasted malted barley. It has a creamy head and a very rich, yet smooth, malty flavour.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale – 5.6% ABV
A delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber colour and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavour are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (Draught Style) – 5.0% ABV
Same characteristics as the bottle version but undergoes no second fermentation as the bottles do. It is filtered but not pasteurised.
